Myrrh Essential Oil Discussion:

Myrrh is one of the most multidimensional oils that exist! First of all, our myrrh is dense, dark, and thick as molasses! The way it should be and not a clear, liquidated myrrh that is obviously not the real thing. In fact, it may help you to get it out of the bottle easier by using an indirect heat, which is an ideal way to get those last few drops at the bottom of the bottle. Who wants to waste a single drop of this amazing oil!? Now for its possible benefits!

Myrrh is a highly respected oil, religiously, ceremonially, and in general. It is used in ceremonies, altars, and even in the warding off of entities! It is mostly known as one of the gifts given to baby Jesus in the Bible. It has been used in Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic Medicine, myrrh has long been used for centuries. Our customers love using it for most general skin ailments and for chronic pain, due to its compounds that may interact with pain receptors. It is said that simply by diffusing this oil into the air, you may be killing off a substantial percentage of airborne bacteria! It is anti-bacterial, including many of the resistant strains. It is also said to be an immune stimulant.

Myrrh has antifungal constituents that can even be used to treat tough topical infections, like ringworm and Athlete’s Foot. It is considered to be a powerful antioxidant, which may fight free radical damage and oxidative stress! Studies have shown that it may be active against a few types of parasites. It is specifically being tested for its activity against trichomoniasis, flukes, and giardiasis. It is also used by many for support with ulcers and intestinal spasms.

Myrrh is great for helping to heal minor cuts, burns, and wounds. It is used by many as an additive to mouth rinses, cosmetic additive, diffusing oil, belly button soak, and as an additive to detox baths. It is also used in sunscreens because it is said that it enhances the blocking of UV rays!

Frankincense and myrrh are commonly associated with one another, as they blend amazingly together. If a blend like this is more of what you are looking for, we have a Frank “N” Myrrh signature blend. We incorporate a splash of tea tree, giving it an intense medicinal aroma! Click Here to be redirected to this blend.

Essential Oil Discussion:

I have worked with essential oils for over a decade now. As a matter of fact, I was a pioneer in advocating their use, long before they were commonly known about. I have attained working and personal knowledge, getting to know the individual oils, including their scents, properties, cautions, interchangeabilities, blending preferences, synergistic qualities, and similarities! I have sought out and selected therapeutic-grade essential oils from all over the world, assuring quality, purity, and reputability. I source some of my oils from the same vendors used by the brand name companies!

Essential oils heighten our emotional, mental, and physical states, supporting the body’s natural processes. Every molecule delivers healing properties, which can be attained by either transdermal absorption or inhalation, which is a field called aromatherapy. The second you inhale a molecule, it comes into contact with nerves and sensors within the olfactory system, which passes signals to the brain. The brain then becomes a messenger, releasing neurotransmitters to initiate the body’s supportive processes.

Steam distillation is the traditional way to extract essential oil compounds. The cold-pressed extraction method a method that involves squeezing fresh plant matter, such as citrus rinds, with a compress. Some essential oil compounds can become damaged when exposed to heat and this method prevents damage. Some essential oils are called absolutes, which are normally oils with very high aromatic qualities. Absolutes are normally the delicate and most beloved blossoms, like the lotus flower. Lastly, some oils are extracted by using carbon dioxide as a solvent, which creates potency similar to absolutes.

Most oils must be mixed with a carrier before being used on the skin. They are pure, accomplished, and powerful! Pure essential oil molecules do not pass through the skin barrier easily. They remain on the surface and require another oil molecule to bind to them and enter the tissues and bloodstream. An example of a carrier would be the oils of coconut, avocado, olive, sesame seed, and sunflower. Keep in mind that thin oils may go into the skin layer faster, whereas thick oils may sit on the skin for a longer period of time.

I would also like to mention that using essential oils in my kitchen has changed everything. From the tase and smell of my food, my mood while preparing meals, to supporting my family’s health with our meals, they have changed my cooking game! You should do your own research before using essential oils in the kitchen, including the possible health benefits of adding them to your food. To start, I have written a blog, containing very important information for you to read on the subject: “The Culinary Uses of Essential Oils” and I now have a special, discounted package of the essential oils you choose to begin your own culinary journey: Culinary Essential Oil Package.

I am proud to be a pioneer in the use of essential oils as belly button soaks! This is new, uncharted waters that have only begun to be researched. The navel is connected directly and indirectly to many important parts and processes of the body! You can learn more about navel soaking by reading the product information of Belly Button Solutions.

There are a few other places on the body that are suspected to offer skin applications a deeper access within the body. There is a dent between our back shoulder blades, where every nerve of the body may crisscross. We also have a vein on the back of our necks. Oils have been applied to the bottoms of the feet for centuries. The armpits and under the breasts may also act as a portal to deeper areas within.

Be your own alchemist by experimenting, to create your own D.I.Y. cosmetic and personal care products at home. Get to know essential oils yourself. Essential oils should not be used while pregnant. Animals such as dogs can tolerate essential oils, while the felines require cation. The liver of some animals cannot process the essential oil molecules, which means that caution should be used even while diffusing them into the air.

I offer many carrier oils in the Carrier Oil Solutions section of this website. Some D.I.Y. and additive ideas would be: body wash, breath fresheners, carpet powders, perfume, room/linen spray, cosmetics, diffusing, detox bath, foot soak, home cleaning water, insect bite site application, jetted tubs, as a food preservative, laundry freshener/sanitizer, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, candles, soap, washing produce, air freshener, vacuum and trash can freshener, aromatherapy/steam inhalation, and much more!
