This product was formulated according to the feedback of mite sufferers themselves. By a blend like this helping them, it may indicate that if we make ourselves inhospitable, or untasty, the pathogens in our living spaces may not be as aggressive. They may dislike the taste of the herbs that we take that ultimately saturate our body and are then possibly detected within the skin layer.

 It’s believed that the compounds of certain bitter herbs might make the skin less appealing to certain insects, due to their taste or smell. Some individuals use a variety of natural substances, including bitter herbs, or other plant-based products, as potential repellents against mites and other insects. At the same time, these are powerful herbs and results may vary. You may do a skin patch test, rubbing the product on your skin, to see if your body reacts before taking it internally. After all, the skin patch test is said to be as effective, if not more so, than any laboratory test!

Mites are tiny arthropods that belong to the subclass Acari and can include various species such as dust mites, chiggers, and mange mites, among others. When mites bite humans, they can cause various types of irritation, allergic reactions, and skin problems. However, the effects of mite bites can differ depending on the species of mite and an individual’s sensitivity to their bites.

Wormwood contains compounds such as terpenoids and flavonoids, which are believed to have insect-repelling properties. Wormwood has historically been used as an insecticide and repellent against various pests, including mites. The specific components in wormwood that may deter mites are thought to be the strong scent and the bitter taste of its compounds. These compounds can potentially interfere with the sensory perception or feeding behavior of the mites, making the environment less attractive to them.

Sarsaparilla may assist in the actions of deterring mites, as it is said that its iron content may aid in the uptake and absorption of wormwood compounds, acting like an adaptogen, helping them to go deeper into the tissues. It also contains saponins that may help emulsify and bind to endotoxins.

Here are some potential effects of pathogenic bites:

1. Biting Sensations: Many bites of pathogens, even those that are microscopic, can cause physical pain. Most describe it as the feeling of being bitten all over the body or in a particular area.
2. Skin Irritation: Mite bites can cause redness, itching, and irritation at the site of the bite. The severity of the reaction can vary from mild itching to intense discomfort.
3. Allergic Reactions: Some people can develop allergic reactions to bites. These reactions might include more severe itching, hives, swelling, or even respiratory symptoms in individuals with allergies.
4. Dermatitis: Prolonged exposure to certain pathogens, such as mites, can lead to dermatitis, a condition characterized by inflamed, itchy, or scaly skin.
5. Secondary Infections: Continuous scratching of the bitten area due to itching can break the skin, increasing the risk of developing secondary bacterial infections.
6. Vector for Diseases: Certain pathogens, including some types of ticks, can transmit diseases to humans through their bites. For instance, some ticks can transmit Lyme disease or Rocky Mountain spotted fever.

Most skin pathogens are often small and may not always be visible, making it challenging to determine the cause of skin irritation solely based on bite appearance. No matter what, be sure to experiment with your products! For example, any variation of this product can be combined or individually used on the skin, in a detox bath, or in most any topical way that you can think of!

Product Variations:

We offer every herb in multiple variations. For example, you can get it as a standard tincture, oxygenated tincture, glycerite, herbal tea, encapsulated, or as a loose powder. We highly recommend getting at least two variations of the preferred blend, to achieve saturation.

Standard Tincture – Herbal compounds extracted in an alcohol base. Alcohol offers a superior absorption rate. We recommend allowing your dose to sit under the tongue for 3+ minutes, then swallowing it down with a drink of water. Otherwise, you may add it to 4 oz. of water, juice, or a smoothie. Microscopic compounds are readily available to be absorbed through tissues, into the bloodstream, and then circulated to organs.

Herbosomal/Lipospheric Tincture – This is the standard tincture, put through an energetic process. We collide the herbal compounds with oxygen and essential oil molecules, entrapping them within an oxygenated bubble. The process can be seen because the tincture lightens in color. The lipospheres’ may have the capability to surpass the bioavailability of a standard tincture, although it exhibits all of the same benefits.

Glycerite – Herbal compounds extracted in vegetable glycerin. This contains NO alcohol and NO sugar. The taste of glycerin resembles syrup, which makes it ideal for children. This version may be best for those highly sensitive or are seeking a nonalcoholic extraction. Doses may need to be up to three times higher than a tincture to receive similar benefits. They can be taken in the same way as tinctures, which is in 4 oz. of water, juice, or a smoothie.

Herbal Tea – Tea bags are handmade to order and can be brewed up to three times each. The constituents will be continually extracted with each brew. Be sure to squeeze the bag gently upon finishing your cup of lovely tea. The label specifies the brewing instructions, which highly depends on the parts of the plant that are used in the tea. Keep in mind, this is medicinal tea and there are no additives. It may be best to drink as is, without adding a sugar substitute. Don’t forget the slurry, medicinal residue that settles to the bottom of the cup!

Cut & Sifted Herb – With the gummy cloves inside of the garlic bulbs, we do not dry nor powder black garlic down. Therefore, we have whole, intact black garlic bulbs, including the outer husk and the inner basal plate. They are broken down into small pieces for you. I believe every part of the plant has something to offer, including the husks. The husk will also help to preserve and keep your garlic fresh. You can open them as needed.

Topical Ointment – An oil-based salve infused with Black Garlic, and it is scented with our Wormwood & Yarrow essential oil.

Infused Oil – We delicately infuse sunflower oil with every part of the intact bulb! It is an amazing, infused oil to use! It is scented with our Wormwood & Yarrow essential oil.

Organic Soap – We offer infused, organic soap in 8 oz. portions. This is two 4 oz. bars. It is scented with our Wormwood & Yarrow essential oil.
