Aloe is one of the oldest plants on the planet. This may also mean that it is one of the oldest remedies as well! It contains an inner gel that many use to apply to sunburn, as it soothes the skin. It may help with many ailments of the skin as well. This inner gel, when dried, is known to support constipation. It may also soothe the inner linings of the intestinal tract. When using it as a remedy, each individual may need to find their own dose. While it can be beneficial for constipation, if overused, may cause explosive bowel movements.

Aloe is considered to be a tonic herb, which supports a healthy gut, digestion, and it may soothe the stomach, when used in small amounts. It is said to enhance the absorption of other vitamins and nutrients as well. It promotes intestinal health, and it may act as a modulator for the immune system. This can be thought of as a switch, that has an ability to turn on, or off, depending on what is needed. Immunomodulatory herbs can be very helpful, especially to those with an overactive, or underactive immune system.

Aloe is known for boosting antioxidants. This is also important for the fighting against free radicals. It is also used in weight loss control. It may hydrate the body better than many liquids.

Our aloe vera is purchased as whole, fresh leaf. We slow-dry the leaf, including its inner gel, which grind down to a silky, fine powder. Below you can find more details on the variations that we offer, as well as how we obtain and process them.

Product Variations:

We offer every herb in multiple variations. For example, you can get it as a standard tincture, oxygenated tincture, glycerite, herbal tea, encapsulated, or as a loose powder. We highly recommend getting at least two variations of the preferred blend, to achieve saturation.

Standard Tincture – Herbal compounds extracted in an alcohol base. Alcohol may offer superior absorption rates. We recommend allowing your dose to sit under the tongue for 3+ minutes, then swallowing it down with water or juice.  Microscopic compounds are bioavailable, readily available to be absorbed through tissues, into the bloodstream, then circulated to the organs. We purchase whole, fresh aloe leaf, slow-dry them, and grind them down to tincture. 

Oxygenated Tincture – This is a standard tincture that is put through an oxygenation process, adding an oxygen molecule to the present herbal compounds. We collide the herbal compounds with oxygen molecules, to encase them both within an oxygenated bubble. The difference can be clearly seen because the tincture lightens in color. The lipospheres’ may have the capability to surpass the bioavailability of a standard tincture, although it exhibits all of the same benefits. We purchase whole, fresh aloe leaf, slow-dry them, and grind them down to tincture.

Glycerite – Herbal compounds extracted in vegetable glycerin. This variation is ideal for children and those sensitive to the alcohol because it has no alcohol, no sugar. It has a taste resembling syrup. Doses are approximately 2-3 times higher than a tincture so that you receive similar benefits. They can be taken in the same way as tinctures, which is in 4 oz. of water, juice, or a smoothie. We purchase whole, fresh aloe leaf, slow-dry them, and grind them down to create glycerites with them. 

Vegetarian Capsule – Size 00, vegetarian capsules, hand-encapsulated, to order. The capsule is swallowed with at least 4 oz. of water or juice. Alfalfa grinds down to a silky, fine powder. We purchase whole, fresh aloe leaf, slow-dry them, and grind them down to encapsulate.

Herbal Tea – Tea bags are handmade to order. Each bag can be brewed up to three times. Constituents will be continually extracted with each brew. Be sure to squeeze the bag gently upon finishing your cup of lovely tea. The label specifies the brewing instructions, which highly depends on the parts of the plant that are used in the tea. It may be best to drink as is, without adding a sugar substitute. Don’t forget the medicinal residue that settles to the bottom of the cup! Loose Herbal Powder – We take pride in the freshness and quality of our herbs. They are hand-ground, to order. Most of our herbs are wildcrafted by us. If we must purchase them, we first choose them in their whole form. We feel that ethically wildcrafted is superior, ensuring a denser content of medicinal compounds, freshness, as well as higher enzymatic/antioxidant activity. Wildcrafting also allows us to include as many parts as possible. We always indicate wildcrafted with the abbreviation “WC”. Skin Salve – Our oil-based salve base that we use is the same as our Remed~Ease™ salve base and scented with our Lavender essential oil. It contains bloodroot and the resins of frankincense & myrrh. We wildcraft the aerial parts of calendula and infuse the salve, to order.

Infused Oil – We delicately infuse sunflower oil with the wildcrafted, aerial parts of calendula, in flower. It is scented with our Lavender essential oil.

Organic Soap – We offer infused, organic soap in 8 oz. portions. This is two 4 oz. bars. It is scented with our Lavender essential oil. We wildcraft the aerial parts in flower of calendula and infuse our soap, to order.
